There are many mysteries baked into And Just Like That …, the ten-episode continuation of Sex and the City that wrapped (maybe not for good?) with Thursday’s finale on HBO Max. Questions like “How has only a year passed in this timeline?” and “Why does LTW need so many pockets in her painting outfit?” remain unanswered. But no part of this series is as no-nonsense and as ready to provide answers for unsolvable questions as new character Seema Patel, played by Sarita Choudhury.

For richer or poorer, in sickness or in health, Andrew Dice Clay and Roseanne Barr are officially launching a comedy tour together. After previously throwing his support behind Barr following last’s year’s never-ending Roseanne debacle, Dice posted to Instagram this weekend that the pair’s Mr. & Mrs. America joint tour is a go.
As you might recall, Barr was fired and the Roseanne revival canceled by ABC last May after the actress tweeted a racist joke/political rant about Obama administration adviser Valerie Jarrett, comparing her to the offspring of the Muslim Brotherhood and The Planet of the Apes.
Andrew Lincoln. During a San Diego Comic-Con panel in Hall H Friday, Walking Dead star Andrew Lincoln confirmed that he’s exiting the show. “There seems to be an elephant in the room,” Lincoln told the audience, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “This will be my last season playing the part of Rick Grimes.” Lincoln has played the show’s starring rolesince its pilot. Rumors that he’s leaving the show began circulating in May.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Angelina Jolie is contesting Brad Pitt’s request for NDAs in their yearslong winery dispute, “Page Six” reported on April 26. Lawyers for Pitt filed a motion to obtain Jolie’s NDAs from any third parties, arguing that the documents are necessary to shed light on why she chose to sell her stake in the winery to a Russian oligarch instead of Pitt following their 2016 divorce.
Anna Kendrick is set to star in an all-new femme thriller, Alice, Darling. In the film, the Oscar-nominated actress will embark on a girls trip that goes wrong when a local girl goes missing and Alice’s volatile boyfriend, played by Charlie Carrick (Reign, Departure) arrives unannounced. Kendrick, who plays Alice, will be joined by Wunmi Mosaku (Loki, Lovecraft Country) and Kaniehtiio Horn (Barkskins, Letterkenny) as Alice’s best friends. Directed by Mary Nighy, Alice, Darling will mark Kendrick’s second outing with Lionsgate, following Paul Feig’s 2018 dark comedy A Simple Favor.
