Chelsea Peretti and Cora Frazier Are Guest Writing at SNL These Next Two Weeks

SNL is bringing in some new guest writers: standup Chelsea Peretti and humor writer Cora Frazier. The duo will be serving as writers for the next two episodes, hosted by Justin Bieber and Christoph Waltz, respectively. Chelsea Peretti wrote on the first season of Comedy Central’s Kroll Show and left her writing gig on Parks and Recreation last year after two seasons on the show. This is the first TV writing credit for Cora Frazier, who has had pieces published in The New Yorker and McSweeney’s.

Chessy Brought Meredith Blake to the SAG Awards

Spotted: Jilted society-bride-to-be Meredith Blake has been stepping out with the help. Her former fiancé, Nick Parker, might have rekindled a relationship with the mother of his (secret twin) children, but Blake has moved on …to Chessy, the nanny? This is a twist on The Sound of Music that not even a Mother Superior could see coming. Blake and Chessy (last name unknown) met in 1998, when Blake moved into Parker’s estate — complete with well-appointed kitchen and live-in staff.

Childs Play Has Lost Its Impish Spark and Gained Artificial Intelligence

Child’s Play, the new slasher reboot of the Chucky franchise, directed by Lars Klevberg, half works. Garish Christmas lights and drones equipped with razors — both of which feature in the film as fantastic weaponry — are amusing, but they’re only as effective as the limp horror story around it. Unfortunately, Child’s Play is undone by a lack of tension even its best performances can’t conjure, and a familiar story that only skips lightly along the surface of gnarly ideas.

Chilling with Brooks Wheelan

“FIRED FROM NEW YORK IT’S SATURDAY NIGHT!” became last year’s tweet heard around the comedy world. With the announcement that his SNL career was coming to an end after just one season, many wondered what would happen to the Iowa born and raised comic Brooks Wheelan. Don’t worry, Brooks is doing just fine. His standup is stronger than ever, his album This Is Cool, Right? dropped earlier this year to great reviews, and this weekend he has his own Comedy Central Half Hour special.

Chocolate City Trailer: All the Sweet, Chocolaty Goodness Magic Mike Is Missing

Magic Mike was great for many reasons, one being that it finally acknowledged that women like to go to the movies and shamelessly lust after who’s onscreen, too. (Thank you, again!) But it wasn’t perfect, and had a severe lack of black male strippers working the pole. Luckily, we now have the trailer for Chocolate City, Jean-Claude La Marre’s very necessary “black version” of Magic Mike. It stars Robert Ri’chard as a guy struggling to make ends meet with his mom (Vivica A.

Chris Pines Fanny Pack Is My New Sexual Orientation

The Wonder Woman sequel — titled Wonder Woman 1984 because it will apparently find Diana Prince in the 1980s — is still many months away (November 1, 2019, to be exact). It will, however, include Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), who seemingly met his demise in Wonder Woman’s third act. (If Jesus can rise again, why can’t Chris Pine!) Hours after Patty Jenkins confirmed Pine’s return this morning, God herself has shared candid images from the set from on high, and Steve Trevor’s costumes once again do not disappoint.

Chris Pratt Explains the Motivation Behind His Ridiculous Photo-Shoot Poses

Chris Pratt. Chris Pratt is the “Man of Style” in InStyle’s September issue, and a title like that comes with great responsibility. Not only do you have to give an interview about your fashion preferences (“cargo shorts and a T-shirt from Cabela’s [were] my staple wardrobe for a really long time”), you’ve also got to sit for a photo shoot in which you maintain an air of effortless masculinity while holding a variety of uncomfortable poses.
